What is Microdosing:
“Microdosing involves repeated intermittent self administration of small amounts of psilocybin or LSD and other substances), at doses large enough to improve daily activities and conditions and small enough so that normal consciousness is not clouded or impaired.”
- James Fadiman, Author of Microdosing for Health, Healing, and Enhanced Performance
Microdosing mushrooms is the practice of consuming very small, “sub-threshold" doses of psilocybin—the main psychoactive compound in "magic mushrooms"—without experiencing hallucinations or a full psychedelic "trip". The goal for those who microdose is generally to achieve subtle enhancements in mood, creativity, focus, and emotional resilience.
Potential benefits of microdosing as reported in the research:
Physical Benefits:
Improved sleep, more energy, enhanced sensory perception, reduced PMS symptoms, decreased pain levels
Spiritual benefits:
Increased sense of wonder, increased sense of unity, deeper emotional connectedness, greater emotional awareness, increased open-mindedness
Mental benefits:
Improved concentration, increased productivity, more balanced mood, more positive mindset, increased distress tolerance

Benefits of
a Microdosing Guide
The practice of microdosing psychedelics is growing throughout the world today. And while there are many resources and books that discuss the ins and outs of microdosing, it is very important to be safe and mindful about how, and what, you take. As a certified microdosing guide, trauma-focused counselor, and trained psychedelic assisted therapy facilitator, I believe that having a guide walk through the journey with you can provide a safe and productive support for the possible emotional experience that will likely occur. Below are some of the many benefits to working with a qualified microdosing guide during your protocol journey.

Intentional Structure
A guide helps you clarify your intentions and create a thoughtful framework, turning experimentation into purposeful self-exploration.

Emotional Safety
& Support
Microdosing can surface emotions and patterns; guided support provides a grounded space to process and integrate what arises.

Integration Matters
Insight is only helpful when it’s integrated into daily life—guidance ensures awareness leads to meaningful, lasting change.

Accountability & Consistency
Regular check-ins help you stay aligned with your goals and avoid drifting into habitual or unconscious use.

Trauma-Informed Awareness
A guide understands nervous system responses and helps you navigate experiences gently and responsibly.

Mind–Body Alignment
Guided support helps you connect microdosing with mindfulness, breathwork, and reflective practices that deepen the benefits.
How to know if
Microdosing is right for you…
There are several considerations when deciding if this approach to wellness is right for you. First off, and most importantly, please do your research. Please ask questions and consult with your primary practitioners, medical and mental. Every person is unique and so are their needs and best practices. While the research is showing profound result for many people, microdosing is not necessarily appropriate for everyone. When you chose to microdose, there is a strong invitation to show up and do the work. Not everyone is ready or willing to do that.
You know you’re ready when you:
- Sense that there is something deeper calling you - more alignment, more meaning, more of your true self
- Have spent so much time caring for others and now you are finally ready to turn that same care inward and reclaim your energy, clarity, and vitality
- Recognize that old patterns and behaviors aren’t serving you as well and you are ready to look at them and make changes that align better with your future self

Nicole Siri Martin
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and integrative practitioner with decades of experience working across schools, hospitals, community settings, and private practice.
My professional training includes counseling, mindfulness meditation, somatic breathwork, and guided integration. My understanding of this work is also shaped by lived experience, personal inquiry, and years of walking alongside others in their most vulnerable moments.
I have witnessed firsthand that healing often requires more than conversation.
It requires grounding, attention to the body, and the courage to be present with what is sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes beautiful.
My work is about creating a space where that presence can unfold naturally, where doing less allows insight and alignment to emerge.
Much of this work happens closer to the ground. On a cushion. On a mat. In a steady relational space where doing less allows something essential to emerge.
